Car: 2013 BMW 320

I'm trying to set the correct ISN into the FEM. I had to replace the DME that had water damage.

I've read the ISN out of the replacement DME. I'm trying to connect the FEM on the bench with autohex. I've wired everything to the wiring diagram shown but the FEM only clicks and won't connect. I then reinstalled the FEM back into the car and updated it, then removed it again and tried to bench connect it for the second time. It will only click rapidly but won't connect. When its installed in the vehicle it works correctly but the wrong ISN number is still in it.

What can I do?

Please ensure that both the FEM GW and BODY are updated. Use a 13V 3A AC/DC adapter as the power supply for the bench connection, then unlock the FEM using a working key. Read FEM ISN from ISN manager option 4. Write to DME in Onbench factory mode. Program DME from Indiv Programming.

Please ensure that both the FEM GW and BODY are updated. - thank you, yes they are both updated.

Use a 13V 3A AC/DC adapter as the power supply for the bench connection - I'm using the power supply that came with my autohex and hextag. Its a 12V unit. Its I can order another to try but its the only one I have.

then unlock the FEM using a working key. Read FEM ISN from ISN manager option 4. Write to DME in Onbench factory mode. Program DME from Indiv Programming. - I can't connect to read anything.

I'll contact the support team. Thank you
