under task Manager, go to "Processes" and look for image name "PtdX.exe " and kill it,
 passthru.JPG You have insufficient rights to see the content.

This problem should be solved by the new update 1.0.42

you make update for ista D or autohex?

Yes I have updated Autohex to the latest version. The ISTA not sure. there is a new entry. I enclose screen shot. for you to take a look Ista.PNG You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Could I get a link to the tools folder files also as I have ista already installed,

OK so i downloaded extra tools folder (Thanks support!) but the how to instructions showed different folder so I uninstalled my previous version of ista and downloaded the one from ista help file, installed it and followed instructions ran passthru prog and set path details, tried to start ista but got unable to start ista each time I tried so removed everything and started fresh,
tried to start again and got same error unable to start ista so changed all path values back to original and tried again, still same error so uninstalled again and installed fresh but made no changes to see if it would start, same error, where am I going wrong? though I would ask here before emailing support team just in case it was an easy fix, can anyone help?

hello! did you install visual c++ all versions from 2005 up to date? ista d won t start if visual c++ is not installed.
