can I used key slot on bench with cas to check key status and is it just a case of plugging key slot and start button into cas or do I need more wiring to/from cas other than AH cas 2/3 wiring?
I have plugged it all in together but only get start button light up, unable to detect key in slot? I have been searching but cant find any answers, looking for a bit of advice from the experts.

for cas2/3 key slot connected to cas is enough.no need of any additional wiring

can you read key number from saved file?

no,but you can check in key learning option 1 which of the key slots are used.Also make sure the used key slots are not disabled.

for cas 3 or cas2 you need 1 extra power line to cas aditional to autohex site wiring. look in ista for cas power supply wiring and after that you will be able to check keys on table. i ve done it myself
