Hello
I have a car 2015 bmw 328xi with DME damaged and i changed for other one used and i need make to work.
How i can do?
I try copy isn from EGS and was impossible,i have HW4 and last update 1.0.44.

Usually you should read ISN from damaged DME and write to the donor DME.
You can start with OBD, if it did not work, you must go to Tricore boot mode.

I'am can't read from damaged ecu because i haven't communication with dme.
only have used from other car.

I thinking i need the ISN from the car to copy in the used DME.

if you have hw4 why you don t read ISN from FEM and then write to DME by obd or bootmode?

you are mistaken your hardware will be HW3, HW4 is not yet available for end user uses.for your car if you can't get ISN from original DME you can't do that right now.try to read original DME in ISN Boot mode
