Finally I will be able to make a spare key for my i3. And many others of course.

Well, unfortunately looks like that i3 is not included even in the newest update. This is kind of disapointing to me as I got one myself already, to drive and also to learn on it. Here in the LA area there are more i3 than 7 series and I have already a few customers waiting for keys and coding. I hope that will be taken care of soon.

i don t se how i3 is not included as it share the same BDC as F16/F15 and BDC unlocking is marketed as supported by HW4...

try maybe to conenct bdc on bench?

Bawareca is right, i3 is not supported and it is not included in our database.

Adding infamous models like i3 will consume more time, increasing our data files size, and maybe no one will use it. As we noted from many customers, they always avoid repairing such cars. Besides with the electric powertrain we don't have too much to work with.
When we see there is a demand on such a model, we will add it.
Currently we are preparing to add the G series as it starts to be required.
After we release HW4 we will add more options for on bench, so you will be able to make a key for your car. But this will not be in the next update.

We will work together on making a key for your car. We need to check if the i3 BDC is supported. If yes, no worry, you and us will work together on making the key (300$ is a huge money for a key can be purchased at 30-40$ ).

yes only HW4 can works with FEM.old hardware users can upgrade to hw4 by paying around 700-800 USD.No need to send old hw we will transfer your software to new hardware ans send to you.

I am a locksmith and do keys, I am planing to buy the new hardware as soon as it will be available, I want to know in the new update I will be able to do all keys lost via obd2 or it's only on bench on FEM/BDC , CAS4, CAS4+?
