Hi
Car purchased without cas, I have managed to fit a used Cas3 with key and matched ISN, including VIN
My problem is cas has fault EWS4, and DME fault is interface EWS with CAS.
What is my solution to disable EWS4 OR downgrade to ews3?

If the DME ISN is 4 digits, then sure the car is EWS3.
You cannot swap between EWS4/EWS3 in CAS by OBD II.
You must change CAS EEPROM or change the CAS itself.

That makes sense.
Earlier today I was working on a E70 the CAS had ISN and SK data,
I changed DME with ISN only, and the car started..
I don't understand why SK is there for!
Or is it inactive?
