Unfortunately I found out that R270 can't read 5M48, so there's nothing I can do at the moment...waiting for R280.

OK here it goes... I want the ISN from C276408 D_FLASH to be transferred to the C243675 D_FLASH...and the short and long VIN from the C243675 to be transferred to the C276408.

Both short and long Vins are clearly visable in the dumps mate ....

ISN from D flash is 4137EB7F0CE0C38A60797F462C705229.. I think
ISN from eeprom is ...

How should I know that? C243675 d_flash is 1L15Y and C276408 d_flash is 5M48H, that's all I know.

isn from 1l15y eeprom should be 10 EE F6 9C 0E DC 25 1F 74 52 E8 1C 42 10 26 3E. for changing it i do no know if its necessary checksum. i used isn from cas just to write it in dme

try to contact support they will help you to change ISN.

Unfortunately DME is MSD87.1, so no solution for reading ISN from it at the moment.

What I'm trying to do is to update a 523i to 528i power level just by changing intake manifold and program DME...but there's the power class issue, so I bought a used 528i DME, CAS and key. So I had to play with both CAS in order to get it to work in it's full glory. Eventually I also figured out that ZGW reads CAS4 VIN and messes up the whole FA resulting in numerous equipment errors.

I see. In this case you should just try to change isn in cas 1l15y, frankly i changed vin in 1l15y and did not had any checksum error. It worth a try to change isn and vin and write it to cas and make a try...
