hi i bought a brand new dme for mini r60 and did programming every thing was fine but when i started the vehicle i am having this error 'PROTECTION AGAINST TAMPERING SWT: ENGINE-SPEED LIMITATION, STAGE 2' i have checked every thing that i could can someone tell me what this error is or what can i do

If it is a new DME, you must check with the seller. This error is due a wrong preset configurations in the DME.

I totally understand where the brand new DME comes from.
Check with the seller, inform him that you get this error.

as far as I know there are FSC codes in the DME's of these minis.
if they are wrong or not present it flages this fault.

order the REP-FSC set of this car and import the FSC and you should be fine

What if it was a used dme and we have this error?

you can "clone" the ECU with KTAG or similar
