Good day, is there maybe anyone who can help me with a dump for a BMW 116I E87 manual.
I have k-tak to load it.
The original DME is badly water damage, put a 2nd hand unit . But it comes from Auto. Did ISN / Flash/ Coding/ programming
And it still looking for EGS. Fan running and not reving higher that 3000rpm's

Did you change the VIN number in the new ECU ?? Yours ECU is compatible with your car?? why fan working ?? I understant ECU looking for EGS but FAN working something wrong (eeprom, flash, micro??, ECU) or something wrong with the car if the ecu is compatible
Usually if DME is ok the coding and programming time is about 50 minutes max
Can you post OLD and NEW ECU number or make booth ECU picture and post here.

Hi. I now there is nothing wrong with the car. I had same problems with e90 before. If you put a automatic DME into a manual car. And you do the vin coding and ISN, the car will not rev up and the electric fan runs full speed. The main problem I have with this N45 enjin. I do not have a k-tak dump for N45 enjin . I have manual dump for BMW e90 320I facelift . tricore MEV17.2.1. But no manual dump For ME 17.2.1.
The original DME is badly water damage. Can not recover any data. The only fault code is the coms with EGS. Loaded E-90 dump. then fault code are gone. But the car does not idle or rev up correctly because of the wrong maps. Over fueling.
The original DME: 0261 S04 523 ME 17.2.1 (TC1796)
Replacement DME : 0261 S04 116 ME 17.2.1 (TC1796)
I will also load the dump that i have of replacent unit

Unfortunately I can't think of anything else right now...this something that I had never encountered before, so I cannot help you any further.

I understand. This is a problem here were these E90 DME's get water damage and there are not a lot of DME's to buy, So if you get the same your are very lucky. On the normal E90 no problem, but this E87 116i manual is a problem. I will inform you as soon as I solved this problem
