I read on forum and I watch your movie, you read ISN from DME - which is gasoline engine.
What about reading ISN from DDE - diesel engines in F series?
Is it possible ?

P.S. I read ISN in E series in DME and DDE - both works perfect! Good job guys!

Reading ISN from DDE in F series can be achieved by the new coming function: ISN by boot mode.
This function is supported only by WVCI HW3, which will be available starting from 20-25 Aug 2016.

Will this new upgrade 'WVCI HW3' read ISN from older E series DDE5,DDE6, DDE626 as well?

I ask because i have tried quite a few of the earlier DDEs and i cannot read the ISN. All i get is either 'DDE not supported contact Microtronic' or 'ISN read error contact Microtronic support'

You can do software updates to these earlier DMEs, but you cannot read the ISN, which is problematic.

If boot mode is supported, will it be possible to read/write flash file from ecu to use it for tunning purpouses?

HW3 is to solve the newer models (2014 and up) since the Tricore is not available in old models of DMEs/DDEs ( I think you are talking about some DDEs 2005 and below)
