i am working on 2018 BMW M2 F87 original speedometer is IN Km/H , i need to put it In Mil/H .
so i Bought a Used Cluster In MIL/H and now I need to Programme it to Car , but when i go with Auto Hex to cod it it say i need to reflash speedometer First , so i try to reflash it with autohex and i get another error ( online Programming: scurity access Error , please Check if all condition are met reference:830e ) but if i try to reflash other module i have no problem ,i try to reflash with IstaP and it faile , any one can help please

It's probably VIN or HW inconsistency.

they have same hardware , and i delte VIn , i put all 0000000000

do you have hw4 for autohex?
you need to edit vin and mileage for new cluster from eeprom.
i think you can change from km to miles from fa and manual coding for original cluster

No, I allways use 0000, and never had any problem, done over 30 clusters.

yes i have HD 4 ,
i try FF same problem , i change vin manuelly in different places in eprom 35128 ,still same problem i cant cod it and i cant reflash ,
also for original cluster if i go manuel coding in cluster there is no option at all in advance coding ,
any other sugestion guys please.

I dont't remember from where I got this tutorial but maybe it will be helpfull.
 To blank mileage and VIN in an existing EEPROM.rar You have insufficient rights to see the content.

I had the same error when I tried to reprogram used power steering on G01. So I contacted tech support and still waiting any resolution of this problem.

problem solved,i read eprom from used cluster in mil/h i deleted vin # short and long vin, then i programmed eprom 35128 to original cluster , then i was able to reflash and cod original cluster to car , now car is in mil/h.
so my guess is ,used cluster is defect or vin# is programmed in eprom and in flash
