I need to replace a dde part no 0 281 013 501 Bosch , DDE 7 803 373. The dde is ruined due to water
I have bought a virgin ecu from a company in UK . Please let me know the procedure I need to follow

This is a DDE 6, there will be no virgin available except from BMW themselves.
If it is virgin, then all what you to do is flashing it by Autohex II

I installed the ecu and did the programming i got a fault code 4a61 dde ews tampering
engine turns car will not start

I tried to do a DME CAS adjustment

ERROR : Telegram content from cas was not start value (May possible be random code)

The DDE you bought is NOT virgin, so you must match the ISN.
Go to ISN manager and read BMW ISN from DDE and write to CAS

IT IS DONE

I reprogrammed both the cas and ecu tried to write dme isn on cas DID NOT START
Went back to diagnose dme , service functions ,Drive ,DME DDE /CAS adjustments 1 programming start value for new dme

THIS TIME IT WORKED

I tried the same earlier it did not programme

Sometimes, you have to wait for 15-30 minutes to try again (DME-CAS Adjustment) after you replace ISN (CAS 3 specially). You must leave car to go to sleep mode before you try again.

Thank you for all the help
Unfortunately since there is no manual we have to rely on help and guidance .
Some times it gets difficult since client wants the car as soon as possible and the difference in time from where we are working and where help can come from

I did read somewhere where I can buy a new hardware connector at a discounted price please let me know
