Hi guys,
Got a BMW F12. Replaced EMF unit with a used one.
Programmed and encoded the EMF. But it does not change the vin number in the unit?
When I've done this with E series it writes in cars vin number straight away. Is there a different method on F Series?
Thank you

they probably didn't program the module for you. they just did the coding right away. this is because your ilevel is newer than the microtronik database. use a different programming tool. but I can be wrong

it didn't change because your software was on latest version , in F series it will get programmed only if status is update available or it will do coding even in indiv programming option. If you want to program this control to change VIN you can contact support via skype or WhatsApp they can do it via teamviewer for you.

switching to custom programming will not help. I checked it many times. only esys will do it

Thanks for all your input, car has gone now as customer wanted it back.
When it returns I will be in touch Microtronik. If it does not work via autohex I do have esys to use as well.
Thank you
