Wonder please if anyone could help with following issue.
Its a BMW F32, year 2015
Car had a broken cluster (water damaged).
Client and other garage bought an used cluster, same reference as original.
Now they find that ISTA online software doesnt accept that used cluster.
Dont know if Im wrong, but I suppose could be because of the VIN stored in that cluster of course doesnt match cars VIN.
How can please change VIN in that cluster, or doing cluster "virgin", so that ISTA accept cluster as new ??

I realise now that they or someone have already changed the eeprom from damaged cluster to this one, as the VIN stored in the 35160 is exactly the same as the cars.
But ISTA software doesnt accept that cluster. ¿¿??
Would be possible please to delete the VIN, and leave cluster as "new" or virgin, and see if ISTA then accept the cluster ??
How wpuld be please to edit the VIN, as I see in the dump, in a part of it its VIN complete (17 digits), and in other line is just the 7 last digits.
Is to fill those with "FFFF" ?? or is the re any checksum to correct as well ??

You can not swap 35160wt chip. There is processor id. Ista will not work with replaced unit (programming)

there will be two eeproms containing vin, 95320 eeprom is another one please edit vin from that eeprom also if already vin correct in 35160
