Hello. I'm trying to unlock FEM with a key. Connections OK. Power supply OK. The Autohex starts to unlock but "Writing Flash Data" is super slow. 5% in 10 minutes. Then goes to 0%. Then goes to Preparing Vehicle For Flashing / Coding and just sits there. Cannot do anything.
Now, what to do? Stop and try again? Will that brick the FEM?

Probably will have to shut down with Task Manager.

Yes, bricked but was able to restore.

2nd time around it went trough but did not finish. "Could Not Read Key Info From Slot. Please try again with a correct key. Key shows up as enabler # 2 in on bench key programming.

We try again, 3rd time.

LOL, 3rd time new error. This time it just says Error while unlocking ECU / check connections / restore / try to unlock again.

OK, we will restore.

Restored 2 times but "Could Not Read Key Info From Slot. Please try again with a correct key." pops up all the time. Key reads OK in another tool and also was recognized in the car.

Autohex has that unique feature that every time this happens you have to start all over again. There is no "Retry" option.

please program FEM GW and BODY then unlock it will work. Also make sure your original key is showing as YES in slot in key learning option 1. For any error in FEM/BDC unlock always update GW and BODY it will solve it. For more details contact support.

I've had the problem may times when working the FEM.
From now on I always update the FEM GW and Body first before doing anything else. Then it works perfectly.
