bmw f20 key programming on bench
I used a work key to unlock the FEM and
Programmed a new key
The new key is pressed against the steering column and the engine starts.
However, the remote control lock unlock engine start does not work.
Please let me know how to fix this problem.

please keep key near steering column and press ignition switch multiple times , it will initialize key and remote functions will work , also make sure key is good and also the battery. you can try program another batch key and check if that remote good.

Oh wow I have had the same problem and trying to figure out. If you make a second key, one of hte keys (first or second) will work. Try that.

Same issue here!
did not have any issues for 6 months.
I thought bad keys.
Managed to do 1 out of 6 keys . It did happen before but used to be one faulty and another programmes.

please inform us your key frequency, hope you try programming the second key and also tried key initialization.
