i have damaged fem on f30 fem ,dme , completly dead
i bought new one with vin number, but when i read or program by autohex i found msg (coding, no valid fa)
what can i do ?
car cant start

This means FEM is in programming mode or is not responding, please check if you can see gateway and cas in the programming list with valid hardware and software numbers. If all are --- then it is not responding. If some have numbers then nothing is serious. Try to flash zgw first, then cas.
If it is a brand new, you need to fill the FA, the only method ( other than online with BMW) is to read FA from old fem and write it in this one, by FA manager.
Also it will be great if you try to check if it can show some fault codes ( both cas and ZGW)

I can see all ecu respond
But fem , dme , icm no coding faulty
I can read car by ista d and autlogic
Buy by autohex diagnosis or programing i found msg fault no FA in this car
I have old fem but this car drop in water
And when i connet by old fem i smell fem burned
So i cant use it again
How can i read FA from old fem !

If you have Ista use ista p .
It will do the job.
I had similar problem on f20 ended up using ista and then done the rest with autohex.

Also check the fuse board in the trunk make sure all the fuses are ok

I tried and found error msg mean like didnt find FA. And need online or old back on flash

If you can reach programming list with Autohex then there is an FA
Autohex always try to get FA from zgw and vin from cas ( in fem both are included). If FA is not in zgw it will try to read from cas. If no FA in both, you will not see programming list
Try to check it in FA manager if there is an FA

@wheelpro yes i used ista p offline as my f20 was also water damaged
i had trouble with autohex but i had limit wifi because i was out of the workshop.
i flashed fem with true expert mode on ista p and then was able to code the modules with autohex after

I have only new FEM
So i cant. See FA
Are they any new way to write FA !
