I was trying to update a dme for e 90 it it started erasing the flash all of a sudden it stopped when i go back to check it says dme not mounted

please help

Hi

This sometimes happens with flashing.

Switch the car off and disconnect the battery. Leave it for 30 mins, and then reconnect the battery and the DME should come back.

It has worked now it shows the dme when i go into programming
new problem there is a steering with a lock on the dash in red car wont start

I updated the cas but no help

Hi

This also sometimes happens.

Go into CAS/DME ISN function and then click 'CAS ISN', that should then release the steering lock.

I tried steering evl counter reset it worked
I don't know if it is the right thing I did and thanks once again for the help
