Greetings!

I got a call for an F36 AKL situation today (2016 435i). I pulled the ISN, unlocked the FEM, then proceeded to program a new FOB. The tool called for a 433 Mhz transmitter. I added the key, but neither comfort nor the remote functions worked. I use refurbished OEM FOBs, so I assumed it was an issue with the key. I programmed three other FOBs, all of them with the same result.

Most of the parts sites have 315 Mhz listed as frequency for this year/model. Is there any chance that the tool is reading the frequency of the remote system incorrectly?

Thanks in advance for your help.

433 keys its very common issue , did you reset keys in hexprog and retried it? Have 2 option to reset the HUF 433 keys that is HUF5663 and HUF5767 make sure you reset it on correct option.
Software will not show wrong frequency unless FEM is not original for car. frequency software shows is read from FEM.
