Hi, I'm new here and need to change the mileage on a BMW X3 E83 with M35080.

I understand correctly that I have to adjust the new mileage in the instrument panel to the desired value in M35080 and then reset the EWS and LCM? And what tool do I use to do that?

Is there any clip-adapter for the HexProg so that the M35080 chip does not have to be soldered from the instrument panel?

Thank you for help.

Hi
Mileage on EEPROM can be edited with hexprog. Read and save the EEPROM data direct using EEPROM adapter and clip provided with it and write back after making the correct mileage on the EEPROM file. Ews module read/write is not supported in HexProg.
