Forget about the original DME, you need to read ISN from the donor DME, then write this value into CAS.
After you save the new value in CAS, Autohex II will ask you to sync CAS with DME, accept this by choosing (YES), make sure ignition is ON, battery voltage is higher than 12V before you let Autohex II do the synchronisation between CAS and donor DME.
