My BMW X1 got flooded and Engine failed to start.DDE is suspected.How to read and reprograme spare DDE and proceed further.
Can Any one help?.
Where to get this AutoHex II in India.
Car was under water for more than 24 hours.
What are the actions diagnostic to be carriedout.

You cannot read EEPROM from this DDE and write it to another one.
You need to bring a used DDE, then using Autohex II: Read ISN (Individual Serial Number) from this DDE, and write this ISN into CAS. then you done.
OR
If your old DDE can communicate. Read ISN from this defected DDE, and write it into a second hand DDE.

It is going to be a one time usage, I am also unfamiliar with Software /diagnostic tool.
I have called your dealer and he promised give AutoHex user info In and arround Chennai and I am waiting.
