I am having issues reading vehicle order on 2006 x3. I was under the impression that autohexII would perform these functions on all e/f models but I see another post where they stated it would not work on vehicles with ews. I need to install a used ecm in this vehicle and this is the main reason I purchased , so do I have to do it in bench mode or any other suggestions, coding/programming works fine with autologic vehicle order is there.

Problem in EWS, there is no obd way to modify data there. Usually this is done by a BDM (read/write flash).
For the other part (dme or dde), you can do on bench if supported.
