I have EGS 8HP from bmw F20 to reset/erase isn , its a second hand unit and i need to adapte in costumer car.

i only have the EGS unit , dont have the car .

Maybe someone can tell me , the procedure to make it on bench .

or
connect to fem

connect can, supply + wake up and flashing

No need units to reset EGS , only need a car with FEM :)
Reset done ,coding....
and start the car

How can we know which part numbers are supported for 8HP ISN reset?
A shop calls me a few days ago for 2010 750i transmission change and I tell them to install the used one and call me when ready. So today I drive 90 km(in one direction) only to connect to the car and get a message "Not supported yet" from Autohex.

2010 750i doesn't have 8HP it is loaded with 6HP. That is what I figured out yesterday, after thinking it over. Most shops have to be treated like children-every thing they say has to be verified.
I guess there is nothing that cam be done for 6hp in F series.
