E90 seat ocupation sensor bypass please what to do !

You can code it (SBE1_1 and SBE1_STATUS_VERZ nicht_aktiv, or OC3 if it is a US spec car), just pull off the plug coming from the occupancy sensor (it has 3 cables, brown-red-white IIRC). That's it.

It may sounds harsh and not popular with some people. But I would say role of good technician is to fix fault not to hide. Especially if goes about safety systems. Imagine some "clever" guy doing this to he's car, than selling to you. And you having accident with your wife on passenger seat where this bypas been done. Getting my point? Driving car with known fault different story, driving in faith all is good where in fact is hidden from you different story.
I would rather see advices in this topic how to fix things not hide issues

sometimes it can be harmful, sometimes useful
