Hello Guys,
I'm working on this 2006 325i that the DME was water damage, both the damage and donor DME are MSV70,
I'm very new to BMW programming, but eager to learn. What do i need to do to get this used DME to start the car,
Which modules do I need to reprogram in the car and or coded? The more detail the greater your help will be.
Thanks for your help and patience.

Welcome aboard plcautoparts :)
Just replace the DME, then go to coding/programming...
Then select DME ISN Manager, then read DME ISN (should be 4 digits), save it.
Go back and enter CAS ISN, load the file you saved it from DME, then click on next.
You will be asked to sync DME-CAS, accept it.
Start the engine, it should start afterward.
cheers

Thanks for the welcome decno1, that was clear enough.
One more question just for future reference, could this be done on bench,
I have both the case and DME from donor car, and was able to get ISN from both on bench,
will the procedure be the same? connect Donor DME and original case and do the same procedure you described above?

thanks in advance!

Yes, it the same.
On Bench procedure is almost same On Car, you may need to sync the DME-CAS (in your case MSV70) when you mount both on car.
To do so by Autohex II, from diagnose->service functions->Drive->CAS-DME Adjustment, select button 2
