Hi all,

Has anyone successfully read the ISN in Factory mode from a EDC17C45? i keep getting message 'power short between 12v and ground. I have no wires touching and have good connections?

Any help would be appreciated.

please use a good quality power supply of 12V 3A,this error is because of power supply

I had the same error, I now use the power supply of MagicMotorsport. output: 14DC 5.0amp

All of you please update autohex to bmw software version to 56 and change power supply to a good quality one of as we recommend 12V 3A.

I have updated and yesterday I readed ISN from EDC17C50 from F45 , first attempt I had this error info but at second attempt ISN was readed properly. I have power supply with recommended parameters.
