Hi guys
Has anyone managed to find a good cheap program to read the EEPROM dump in order to program a key for the CAS 4 F series cars?
EcuMaster say's that he has made keys before with F01/F10 cars with Autohex, so i would like to know the easiest way to do it without having to take the CAS out of the car and open it and having to hook it up with wires via cheap Chinese software like the R270 or XPROG.
Basically, is there a way to read the CAS4 data via the OBD2 and then just save it to a file and load it into Autohex?
Any help would be appreciated because i had no idea that in order to program a new key for CAS4 cars, you would have to retrieve a EEPROM dump, which makes the whole process much more difficult.
Also, there is no clear user manual for such things. Is there an Autohex user manual.
www.bmw-keycoder.com has an excellent user manual detailing exactly what to do step by step when programming keys.
Does Autohex, have a user manual for all of its processes? There is limited information on the website and support via email, but if there was a clear user guide, i think half of us would never need to contact support or to use guesswork to deal with problems.
