I just got a autohex 2 and was wondering if it would be a 1:1 clone on a simos 12.2 from a vw jetta 2014 06K 907 425 push to start. I tried using the multiprog and I got a p1570 ecm disabled and other immobilizer codes on different modules. Plug original in and it starts right up. I read somewhere it would still need to be coded but Im not sure. I don't work much on vw/audi system but I have a clone VAS6154A and want to learn more on the vw system. Thanks in advanced.

you can not clone a simos 12 unless you move immo data to the donor, this is because of OTP in the ecu's

How do I go about moving the immo data to the donor?

Just did some research and found Neurosuite. So if I understood correctly, I can clone by editing the replacement eeprom with the original eeprom immo info and uploading the cloned eeprom with updated immo info and original flash files. Do I have this correct? Was this what you meant by moving the immo data over?
