Hello everyone, i'm new to DSG, i try to swap a mecatronic from DQ250 VW Golf 7R, i ear that we only need to change the vin in eeprom to make it work. Is that right ? Would appreciate any other information about it ! Thanks

The problem is that the old mechatronic unit is no longer available; the person who replaced it threw it away.
