so...dont rush to update because for the oldest clients with hw4 update is not working
let me tell you a story
i buy autohex like 7 years ago when locksmith package was 4800$ and receive hw4
meanwhile, 2 years later autohex made hw5 and now locksmith package cost 3700$
and now with the new GUI interface they told me i need to upgrade to hw5 because for me new version doesnt work
i dont need autohex anymore

I am getting error REF 1 e12 after installing the Autohex II when pushing update
Cant update the Autohex II

Also the program hangs often
Now i cant use the older version Autohex

Whats going on here?

The program wont recognize the interface, but in settings it reads the serial number with hardware 0
Not sure if i have HW4 or 5

is simple
just buy once again new hw5
this was the trick....bdc2 add key,no mileage reset,no akl function....just add key....
people will spend money on new hw5 released 5 years ago.....and thats it.....4 years from now one will stay chill without any updates news

They told me the same thing. I just re-activated my software because of the update just to be told it doesn't work with HW4. If they don't fix this, I'm done.

New GUI requires Hardware 5 and if your Autohex is hardware 4,
We recommend you to upgrade to Hardware 5. We tried our best to make HW4 stable in the new software, but there is no way to make it reliable in ENET protocols. The MCU is very slow to handle the new programming methods in Autohxth. The same applies to USB.

bdc2 need can communication programming....not ENET
without working to solutions for tool to be the best and when you are 3 years behind explorer,yanhua and vvdi this is the only solution to make money

I made the same mistake,pay license yesterday just to find out this bullshit....i even ask them few weeks ago if the new interface will work with HEXTAG and they say YES....but i bet they will force to buy even HEXPROG because hextag is old
i will use this year with old interface meanwhile i buy yanhua wich does mileage,clone,akl on bdc2
