Hi

I replaced an EPS steering rack in F10.
Everything looks like ok,just one fault in the EPS memory:
But i can not code this module.. Why? and HOW NEXT???

you must try to flash this unit there must be some files missing.

Ok but my Autohex program has no programming option.
I only bought the Locksmith option. So i can not flash with this tool.
So i need to use ISTA/p or E-sys...
I tried coding with these programs but, e-sys shows error because some file is missing and ISTA/P want to program whole car.
I want only code/program just the EPS but when ISTA/P done with measures plan,than all control unit marked as select again.
So i can not do my job..
Only a few minutes work,cost me 2 days now and no result...

You use ISTA P with EXPERT MODE ? if yes you have option HIDE if you klick to other module and hide all module witch you no need programming

I know this method.
That's what i did and and tried to wrote before this post.
I selected HIDE option all modules what i not want to program/code..
And after that i hit measures plan button,and when it was ready than all modules selected again in the final measures plan to program/encode.
So that HIDE button is useless/not working. Yes,my ISTA/P is in EXPERT MODE.
Some bug in the program or i don't know.
But forget it.
I solved the problem with E-SYS....
