Change mileage in instrument manually. Vin will change when doing pogramming/coding with autohex.

Being able to change the VIN and mileage in the kombi would be great, i'm assuming we'd have to use the SOP8 connector from the HW4 FEM wires?

We are trying our best to make same cables from Autohex to work with HexTag, we succeed in Tricore and OBD, I don't think it is possible to use the FEM SOP8 clip to work for resetting the M35080, M35160,..etc because they have different power pins from all other 8 pins eeproms (check data sheet of this IC), so I guess a special cable/extension is required.
Currently HexTag can reset M35080,M35160,160DW and 080DW in seconds, we are making more tests and adding the editor/encoder then we will release this function.

Ok, well we know you clever guys will work it out!
R270 is sometimes pot luck, so need a good alternative soon!

Vin not gonna change with coding.
You can change vin when you doing mileage.
You gonna have dot till you change vin

New update taking long

Until next update best use VVDI Prog . Did M35160 on F01 750 and worked like a charm. Had to desolder chip but worked and no emulator needed. HexTag next update should make this job super faster and easy.
