Whats the chance of adding EGS cloning? 6/8HP. I tested on several MEVD172x and very fast. I can imagine if 6/8HP EGS cloning were possible. Let us know if you would consider this too.

I would love to see DCT cloning since these utilize Tricore processors, and have an immobilizer system for which no solutions presently exist.

Users who have HexTag with PCB version: 1.50, 1.60 and some of 1.70 may meet issues in Factory Mode with Ecus equiped with TC1766 or TC1796 Microcontrollers! This problem may occure only when users select Factory Mode on these Ecus. Boot Mode will not be affected.
I have pcb board 1.60 and had issue before in factory mode...how do we go about fixing that if we need newer version? what is the process?

Any user with either of these boards, support should send out the fix. We should not have to wait for a problem to happen when we are in middle of a job. No Good!

Support took care of my board. Looks like this method is best approach to getting folks the correct fix. It just a problem when working on customers systems and you hit the bug. Thats only downside. No other backup tool and you are down.

But thank you support for the fix.

You have to open the case and check which revision of the PCB you have. versions 1.50, 1.60 and some of 1.70 are affected. If you just received your unit then you should be safe. I would think all of the latest builds are manufactured with the updated changes.

nothing to worry about your hextag sir its only for older version PCB and to make sure if you want go to Cloning---->MINI---->Mev172 and check if you are getting any warning.
