Update: I can read the vehicle data with ista/d without a problem.

Usually you must use dump tools for these cars, no obd solution to write ISN on EWS.

hi what about 2002 BMW 530i Sedan (E39) L6-3.0L (M54).....can autohex II do Used DME........??/or must using dump tools to write ISN to EWS..?? by programmer tool..?? can u let me know thanks

Dude, E39 uses EWS not CAS, so it is not supported as well, even if it 2017 model.
