i read the chip and save the file. How do I change the VIN number in this cluster please?

VIN will be in encrypted format you need to find the location and edit it in HEX format

VIN from file is GS71602, right? Here You have correct file without VIN like brand new cluster. M35080_OK.rar You have insufficient rights to see the content.

All eeprom is specific and you will not use the same dump in another dash.

OK I am looking to find in which line is the vin reading by hextag in e46 eeprom to make it virgin.

Do you know the old vin? If not, in the hidden menu will be written FGSTNR: VIN
