I have a Bosch ECU to copy from G20 2021. The orginal ECU is dated 11/14/2020 on donor is 10/25/2020. The problem is with reading or writing on these drivers? If they are blocked, will it be damaged or will I only get a read / write error? I don't want to plug them in so as not to damage them.
I have seen Microtronic. Answer the group, but I still need information if it will not be damaged.

If locked MG1/MD1 from BMW with latest I level we cannot read it. Also even if its not locked and you managed to read it will be mostly with Tricore CPU which cannot edit ISN or which will give EWS fault even after CLONE.

So as I understood correctly with newer ECUs it is not possible to copy the full content. Only the translation of the BGA remains
