Hi, I'm new here and I'm just trying out how my new programmer works.
I'm trying to read EDC17CP14 (Skoda SuperbMK2) in factory mode with a fault message Cannot Detect External Flash - Ref: 971 -

hi,
your ECU doesn't have external flash in it so please use the other option of EDC17CP14 without external flash.
