Hello,
so far I've only used the HEXPROG to repair FRM's. Now a BMW garage has sent me two identical CAS3's so I can clone one to the other.

I know what the procedure is (READ EEPROM and FLASH, save to pc and WRITE to donor CAS3)

But what I don't know is if the original CAS3 has corrupted memory. Is there any database of CAS3 files that I could compare my read with? I found some on some other forums, and even though they have identical part numbers, the files were not even close.

Both CAS3 have this on the label:

61.35-9147222-01
2090084804
MCV 00.00.00 FSV 2.4.6 OSV 3.3.0

HW C4 / SW 19.4 / COD 09 / DIAG-INDEX 06a0
5wk4 9514XBR

Both CAS3 units have the numbers above but the FLASH files are not even close. I expected that they would be at least a 95% match.

I could post a link to what I read from both CAS3 modules if someone would like to have a look.

Thanks for any advice!
