Hey everyone,

Have hextag here, trying to take a full flash and eprom read from an FRM 2 (one circuit for turn signal is dead and unable to reset short circuit, but otherwise module works and is online via OBD communication)

I'm selecting FRM 2 under hexprog and wiring is according to wiring diagrams via microtronik website. However everytime it will come back with error REF 943 - Failed to unlock chipset

Normally its a wiring problem, we've checked this many times and same problem here.


Any insight would be appreciated !

I tried to get a read on a FRM2 also recently and it wouldnt do it on bench pin out .... i used VVDI prog to read abd write the info

please make sure other bdm modules like cas or frm 3 can be read with the device. if same please contact the support team to check the faults.
