I just cloninged my MED17.1 for an audi A6. I had to hook up the resistors to unlock the Tprot so when I did that I was able to do a full backup. My questions are:
1.) Is saving the original backup and restoring it to the donor backup enough? I am sending the ecu to someone out of state and dont want them to have issues when they start the car?
2.) I was reading something about the OTP ( not sure what that is from a 3 year old message) and wondering if I need to also do something with that?
3.) I was also reading that I need to separately save the EEPROM and FLASH and the restore them separately. is that true?

Any help would be appreciated.

MED17.1 from VAG has immo in OTP portion so you will get immo fault even after transferring files to donor ECU irrespective if it is backup and restore or individual file writing to the donor ECU. No cloning tool can transfer OTP portions. It is required to make immo sync or immo off after transferring files.
