Hi,

I had a case today, car was 2004 645, N62, ME9.2, it has CAS2 i believe
I needed to program replacement DME as original had water in it.
I was sure I would handle it with autohex2 as i knew it works on cars with CAS but,
Apparently it does not supports ISN reading from ME9.2.

luckily it is able to read/write ISN in CAS2

so i had to get the DME to the bench and read the dump with BDM tool,
but next problem was finding ISN in this tool so i would write it in CAS2 with autohex2, and i spent lots of time figuring out the address of ISN and tool that would handle it.

and here is the request:
It would be really helpful if we would be able to upload BDM dump in autohex2 and it finds out ISN, so we can write it in CAS2 then.

Why do you want to write the dme isn into CAS ?
Go direct to indiv. Programming and flash the dme. it will do all necessary flash and will write the CAS isn and VIN in dme direct.

Its, interesting, are you sure ME9.2 is supported?
i tried reading ISN and it said it is not supported,

how would indiv programming change ISN in DME?
never heard of that

how programming change ISN for the DME ,it will not work like that you must copy ISN from DME and write to cas.Flashing will not help with ISN
