Hello guys, how are you. I'm new to this forum as well as the autohex 2. I've been working on European cars for over 10 years. I'm currently working on a 2005 E64 645ci (N62). The car is a Flood. When the car originally came in, the throttle body motor kept surging. I diagnosed a little bit with ISTA D, and figured out it was the DME. I purchased a used one with the same part numbers as the original one. I've used the auto hex 2 on an e60 before and it worked perfectly. When I went to click read DME ISN, it said "contact microtronik for help". I then purchased another DME out of a 7 series with different part numbers. I was able to read the ISN. The car started, but had no throttle. (Different DME with Different Part Numbers). If any one has any clue what could be wrong that would be greatly appreciated. Please get back to me, thank you.

Hi,

Autohex2 can not read ISN from some ME9.2
best way is to use BDM, its fastest and easiest at the moment,
then you can use autohex2 to write that ISN to CAS.

lmk if you'll need to extract ISN from ME9.2 dump
