here is the wiring diagram for connecting EGS 8HP from F series and CAS 4 on bench using HW4.By this method EGS can be reset to virgin so can be connected to any compatible car,the only thing you need to do is coding on the particular car.any ZGW from F series can be used for both connections. ZGW&CAS4.png You have insufficient rights to see the content. EGS 8HP (2).png You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Silly question maybe...but is it necessary to have both CAS4 and ZGW present on bench for 8HP reset, or only ZGW?

ZGW is enough for egs on bench.

This device is not at all necessary for working with FEM/BDC using autohex,additional than our wiring you only need to get any key coil from F series that will do the job.

To make virgin EGS, is it necessary to have a CAS4 with key working?

8HP Full Virginise is not easy need about 1h job on table and no need any ZGW or working Key, is possible on the car as well , can you see picture

Autohex will take only 15 mins to reset 8hp and no need key you can use any zgw in f series to connect on bench.
