Hello,

i have this car:

BMW X5 E70 2009-06 / 3.0d with automatic

1. I reset a used key
2. For a test, I have the key at the table to another CAS trained and key works
3. the learning in the vehicle takes place without error message
4. but the vehicle does not start
5. I read the EEprom with another tool
6. when opening with Hexprog the following status is displayed -> Programming Mode
7. the same with BMW Explorer ( Attention! Block mode- PROGRAMM Mode Change to DIAGNOSTIC MODE? )

Can this be the cause?

Cas was before downgrade for read ISN and make keys now need CAS to Normal mode programming

You can switch mode from hextag, or you can try to restor cas from ah downgrade menu. Happened to me once, programmed key and car did not started until restore it. I did only copy.

yes if you don't downgrade cas then probably as MR.Levan said ,someone else has tried in that cas before and left it like that you can change it in hextag and test the status in cas firmware.
