Hi Everyone,
You can still continue using the current features available on your HW4, and we completely respect your decision either way.
However, we would like you to understand that the new GUI requires HW5 hardware. The HW4 platform was developed more than 6 years ago, and the technology is now outdated. We have made numerous attempts to make it compatible with the new GUI/interface, but unfortunately, there is no reliable way to support the newer ENET protocols on the older hardware.
The MCU on HW4 is simply too slow to handle the latest programming methods implemented in AutoHex. The same limitations also apply to USB communication.
The upgrade price reflects the value of the new hardware and its capabilities. With the HW5 replacement, users only pay for the new hardware, and we already include the BDC2 cable at no additional cost. If purchased separately, the BDC2 cable costs $75. The HW5 replacement cost is only $500, plus $60 for standard shipping.
In line with the license renewal price remains the same; we have not increased or changed it.
Of course, it is entirely your choice whether to renew the license or not, and we fully respect your decision either way. We simply want to provide the available options so you can choose what works best for your needs.
Appreciate your understanding with regards to this matter.
Regards,
Microtronik
