Has anyone succefully carried out a DME ISN read with the ECU on the bench?
I tried today, but was unsuccessful.

Is there some kind of procedure with the software? How do you make the ECU be read by the software?

Any ideas???

You cannot work on bench without a CAS.
CAS is mandatory, DME is optional.
by absence of the cas autohex will result an error.

Hi

Ok, i've managed to read the information from the CAS on the bench, but i do not know which pins on the MSV80 i need to connect to the CAS. Which pins represent CAN H, CAN L, 12V and ground on the DME for the MSV80?

Can anyone help with a diagram?

What i'm trying to do is replace a defective DME by writing the ISN and SK from the CAS to the replacement DME.

Any help would be great as i'm new to all of this.

Thanks

What is the last 7 of the VIN? I'll get the wiring diagram for you.

I thought this is only for booy mode? You mean if I shift the components like that, I will be able to read it on bench?

You have to do as I indicated. Read data. Write data. Then the components you have to give to your place
