Hi House

A customer came over to our workshop for updating of all modules, today tried to update CAS after HW4 successfully update SW, it wanted to do coding, coding failed and can bricked,CAS switch on for 1 minute and then switch off, now auto hex cannot see CAS from list says ECU not available, customer is mad wants to use car for a journey. Please what can I do to restore CAS? thanks for your help, I have tried ESYS and ISTA P no luck.

Just in HW4 brick the junction box electronics of a customer x5 2008 E series,car ignition not working, car ignition permanently on, no drive car start but no gear engagement, 2 car down within 2 days, I have order vvdi programmer for CAS,HW3 never bricked any car except kombi of M6 2013, and I was told HW4 would solve all problems, may I return hw4 let me use back my hw3,

yesterday and today am having this issue customer care not available for advice.

Order vvdi prog, read cas D and P flash. Give me dumps, and i will recompose corrupted dump. If it is ews4 car will start with old keys, if it is ews5 after i make your dump, you must make new key to start car. Contact me in pm to give watsapp number

For the cas4 we need to check log file why it happened,probably cas will have some issues.And for X5 its E series there is nothing HW4 can do with it please contact support in skype for that car we will fix it and bring it back alive.

Friday is the only day we don't work if you want to contact with tech team in skype you must be online between 9-6:30pm GMT +4 . I believe you are from Nigeria so there is no big difference in time zone its just 3 hours so you can easily contact us between that time.

Every time if start programming coding BMW you must to use battery support unit (14,5 V / 100A), the car must have more then 13v , for CAS4 and FEM modules and Instrument Cluster the power voltage must be 14V
For Multimedia modules better not use Autohex , use ISTA P .
This is true HW3 was most stable interface them HW4.

read from damaged dflash and upload it to another unit. the keys will work. you can also download pflash from a different unit to the damaged cas. this should also help. xprog should read d, p flash and memory map. sometimes requires heating the processor. mrppad, upausb, vvdi is better.

HW4 is 100% stable compared to HW3. In case of E series there is nothing hw4 can do more than what 3 does ,All good parts of new hardware comes on F series and we agree we had some issues with CIC/NBT before version 1.00.48 it has been completely rectified from software version 49.
And regarding the topic discussed here we have solved his JBE issue and gave him P-flash for writing to CAS.As Cardiagcom said you must always maintain 13+ voltage for flashing ECU's which is always missing on this customer side.

I have flashed the P-flash data given to me to CAS4 module still same cannot detect cas4 copied backup of CAS4 to Another donor cas4 same problem, meaning problem with D-flash of cas4, how do I copy ISN and keys to another cas4 or what can I do

you D-flash has a lot of FF inside. i made dump for you, vin change long and short, km 67372 original, part nr original 5WK50520DBR,and isn change to original. keys part only FF, could not change. must write new key. first write dump in cas,make new key, put cas on car,put ignition, move FA from ZGW to cas,do coding to cas.  d-flash vin si km ok si isn.rar You have insufficient rights to see the content. waiting feedback 🙂 your car is F07 GT,from 01-2012, 535I
