Hi guys,
1st haven't purchased Autohex yet - question is what support exists for ECU bench reading ?
can anyone message me a list of supported ECUs?

Define Ecu (do you mean DME/DDE or you mean any module in BMW)
And what support you mean? Flash reading or ISN reading

ISN/data reading on any Engine ECU
for propose of lost keys on CAS3/4 FEM based cars on the bench.

Autohex II supports all types of BMW DME/DDE on bench, either by tricore or OBD itself.
If the DME is from F series models and you wish to read ISN by the OBD style, you will need to have a ZGW (any) and you will need to connect flexray wires between them along with CAN and power.

Fantastic
As assume correct in saying with AutoHex (as others) the engine ECU won't power up if no key is present for CAS/FEM.

If you connect on bench (by obd method) you can provide igntion signal by a 12v wire to a specific pin in DME.
If in boot mode, you don’t need ignition.
