Can VAG SIMOS 8.2x be added ?

This ECU I think can be read only in Boot mode , and I was able to read it with Menu of SIMOS 8.3 boot mode , P flash seam to be good , but Ex eprom read all 00000000000000. So it does not read Ex Eeprom under this menu.
Here is the boot mode connection, Very similar as Simos 8.3 and 12v, ground Can -H and Can_L is same as all other Simos 8.3,8.4,8.5
CNF is Purple Signal wire .

Simos 8.2x Boot mode

For ECU SW identification we will look into it in future but for OBD voltage disable we cannot do we its effects security. Initially we did not made this restriction but ECU was failing while writing flash because of no proper voltage so only after that we made the restriction due to safety purposes.

I talked about that feature before one year ago, they declined, this why I don’t buy the flashing license after 3 months free.
Im mobile tuner and lot of time i cant connect battery stabilizer, i know about restrictions and i know when is not safe.
Give us the option to disable that, we aware about that and once we disable that we know we are not in safe place.
From my opinion it’s same like checksum disable, if you disable that without knowing what you do you will break the ecu.

sagishm: iv made "voltage check bypass device" hexprog always think its 13.3V - its silly solution but it works..
used voltage dc dc step up regulator: LM2596
from ali for 1usd..
bypass

also its sad theres still not possible to save ecu info in text file and backup dont offer to save separate files.

Where did you get the obd box?

But just say again, give us the option to disable that limit, there is option to sting that, we know the restrictions, you can do that in one line.

How about the ability's to know what type of ecu to look for to begin with...you cant look up car year make model or engine size at all in software...
also would be nice to add the ford with ecu EEC-V, EEC VI type..

Voltage checking disabled will result in ECU flashing failure often. Anyway, we will look into it. For ECU selection it is possible to search with Bosch part number and also ecu name search option. So it can search like that.

every one with that job know that, give us the option to decide, popup with warning when that disabled will be enough.
thanks!

For now, vin can be edited with the help of the support team from file for 160 and 95320 EEPROMs. Please contact support to help.
DCM7.1 is not supported and doesn't have a forecast now. But our development team is working on this ECU. Hopefully, we will have this soon.

You will add option to disable that or not?
Thanks

Hi,
What about Adding in AUDI 6hp an 8hp TCU read?
I am sure this will be easy to add since you have it in BMW menu , but not sure will BMW menu work to read/write those transmission as they have 6hp28 and 8hp55 which BMW menu do not have it .
Here is the some info about 8hp:
